30x30x30

In January 2027, I will create 30 collages of US Presidents from flashcards. As the historical archive is necessarily partial, I will not include every president. Rather, choices of who to include will be dictated by upcyled materials found in quote books, as well as postage stamps and other patriotic ephemera. Works will be available for sale individually, allowing for the further fragmentation of this historical record and its distribution to homes (and possibly bathrooms) across the city. The pieces, and their dissemination, offer a commentary on the disjointed nature of US history and the piecemeal role of each President as their terms eventually (thankfully?!) end.
